Commuter Chat-

Commuter Chat-
came in to work today & passed 3 cyclists. A record low number. Sorry to say that the only way to reverse the increased belt buckle notch is to get back in the saddle. Unpleasant as it may seem when the wind is this nippy.
Happy Christmas!!

Do you know what? I had a puncture the day before last & hobbled- ┬ádeflated – home the last mile. I had to borrow my teenage son’s mountain bike (think circus elephant on clown bike) to get back to work (not enough time to puncture repair at home).

Whilst commuting TO work the rear gear hanger fell off his bike & I had to “scoot” 4 miles to Leith, using muscles not used in ┬ámany, many years. I now have buttocks of steel.

Fortunately I know a good bike mechanic.

Take care out there while we are awaiting the council’s cycle-path gritters to do their job. Feel free to email the council, I certainly do. The more the merrier though.
